Some soil and drop marks on cloth, cocked, corners bumped with cardboard exposed there, 1/8th inch fraying at head and foot of spine, rubbed along edges, 1 inch tear on rear joint. Internally, previous owner's inscriptions (in pencil) , shaken, first free front endpaper and tissue guard creased, foxing on and adjacent to frontispiece, otherwise clean and unmarked.
