Heavy tanning and foxing to text block edges. Heavy cracking to front hinge and heavy foxing to title page. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Heavy bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends, causing cloth to fray. Binding remains firm, with heavy tanning overall.

Boards have mild edge wear with light rubbing and crushing. Some light marking and tanning. Gilt lettering is darkened. There is bumping to corners. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Tanning to spine and edges.
