Softcover. Original / Printed in Hanoi. Grey/cream wraps with shadow of embroidery design; red lettering in Khmer (Cambodian) and French. 20 pp. text. 16 color plates of cross stitch designs; 39 color plates of decorative motifs for embroidery on tulle fabric. All information (brief essay, two lists of plates) in both Khmer/Cambodian and French. (Khmer is the official language of the country of Cambodia.) A lovely book with clear detail of images that could be used to create the same embroideries again. Scarce! (Note: Alternate transliteration of the author's name: Rasmi Sobhan Narottam Suddharas, Princess). Good, clean, and tight but with general rubbing to covers/spine. French-language price sticker covering printed price sticker on back cover. Library of Congress stamp on title page.
