Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Carreras, Theo. (illustrator). Undated - but neat, school prize stamp on f.e.p. is dated 1933. Book may be earlier in date, judging by content and printing (possibly late 19th/ early 20th century). Hardcover - but might be a dust jacket pasted to boards. Illustrated (blue and white) front 'board' with list of other 'nature book' publications by the R. T. S. on back. Illustrated frontispiece - photo of 'In the Grove Garden' by James Laversuch. Contents set out January to December - 12 chapters. Plus index. Many illustrations within the text and also illustrated first letter of each chapter. Text is very clean. Page binding is okay but spine edges are cracked (and taped up) so book feels loose - page binding is tight. 'Boards' show wear - grubby, edges chipped/ rubbed. #45.28.
