This is the second of only two editions made of The hobbit with Tove Janssons illustrations. Even though it states the 14 edition in the book this is the second of two and only editions. In the second edition from 1994 it always states this and i believe this is merely to state that it is the 14th edition of all the hobbit books that were released in Sweden up to that point. Beautiful illustrations.

This is the second and preferred Swedish translation, done by the author, lyricist, and poet Britt Gerda Hallqvist (1914-1997). It was first translated into Swedish in 1947 by Tore Zetterholm, whose effort provoked outrage from Tolkien himself for deviating too far from the original text, particularly in the renaming of its characters and species; Bilbo, for example, became "Bimbo."
