Hard Cover. Condition: NF. Dust Jacket Condition: VG+. No Additional Printings Listed. Octavo. Black cloth covered boards and spine with a gray letterbox and shiny gilt lettering on the spine. Light bumping at the head and tail of the spine. White endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 283 pages, plus at least another 100 pages of art plates in the rear of the book. Translated from the French by Gaynor Woodhouse. Dust Jacket - has light rubbing at the head and tail of the spine and all along the upper and lower edges. 2 1/2" closed tear in the upper edge of the front cover near the upper corner and a 1" closed tear in the upper edge of the rear cover, along with some other smaller closed tears, some with light accompanying wrinkles. Book has some wear, but is tight and clean and still has a nice overall appearance. High quality paper in the rear third of the book has made it heavier than usual and orders requesting International or Priority Mail services will be shipped at actual cost.
