This edition was translated by Constance Garnett and is illustrated with wood engravings. This book is beautifully bound in a full black leather binding with 22 kt gold spine and cover decorations. The spine has four raised bands with five decorated compartments. All edges are gilt, and the book has red silk moire end papers with a silk ribbon bookmark. The pages are acid-free and they are smyth-sewn, not glued. There are no owner bookplates or owner names in the book.
