(page size 31 x 9.5 cms), (248)pp., complete with the half-title, with 3370 woodcut figures of the obverses and reverses of then current European coins, with a large armorial woodcut on title-page, marginal dampstain on a few leaves, one leaf with small marginal defect just touching edge of one engraving, original calf, worn and repaired, endpapers replaced. A good, crisp, copy. First edition in French. Lipsius p.298 [Bibliotheca Numaria,> 1801] has only the Dutch language edition of the same year. Both were printed in Antwerp by Verdussen.
