Burgundy boards, blind stamping, black lettering, shelfwear to extremities, part of spine cover missing [one area ca. 2" x 1/2" and one other small area], a little soiling; pencil scribbles to front endpaper, PO's name pencilled on back endpaper. Pen inscription to rear of frontispiece. Ink blot to front of frontispiece. Book has been rebound. Moderate pen & pencil annotations throughout. Pages are mildly tanned throughout. Text is clear. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible tanning & crushing to spine. Gilt lettering has darkened. Minor splits causing fraying to cloth at spine ends. Noticeable white staining.

This book is in near fine condition.
