Seller: Ebeth & Abayjay Books, Lima, OH, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. W. T. Whitehead (illustrator). The Shakespearean Guide to Stratford-on-Avon was written by H. Snowden Ward and Catharine Weed Ward and is illustrated throughout with the drawings of W. T. Whitehead. The book was published by Dawbarn & Ward, Limited, (It was published in Britain.) perhaps around 1900. I can find no date of publication but it has that look. It's an ex-library copy, is only in good condition, pages that are beginning to yellow and a spine that is getting brittle, and has no dust jacket. The book is 5" by 7 1/4" and has 137 yellowing semi-glossy pages, an Index, a Table of Contents with older black-and-white photographs and illustrations throughout the book. After the Index there's another dozen, or so, pages of advertising. Thank you!.
