Hardcover ( 8.5 X 10.5 ) in red beveled boards with gold gilt title and decoration in very good condition, well preserved inner hinges with lily white decorated end papers showing period ink stamp on FEP as personalized copy of Watson C. (Corvosso) Squire who served as 12th governor of the Washington Territory and became U.S. Senator representing the State of Washington once admitted as the 42th state in 1889, photo-collotype frontispiece by Wells & Hope of Governors and Representatives of original 13 colonies, some edge wear and spots to cover boards (see photos).
