Wilhelm Bolsche, (1861-1939), was a prolific German author of books on natural history, although he was considered to be more of a popularizer of such subjects rather than a true naturalist himself. The present book presents his ideas of how reproduction evolved in the lower species and man, although he uses the terms sex and love interchangeably, maybe in an attempt to add a bit of eroticism, which has always been a good sales booster. On the other hand, he might be saying that sex evolved into love, which many would find controversial. Perhaps that is why he addresses the book "to all rational people who have the courage to form a philosophy of life for themselves." Requires the shipping charges for two books.
