Dust jacket has a small tear near spine tail. Limited and numbered, 422/1000, signed by Geoff Blackburn. In the 1830s, the Children's Friend Society "rescued" some 2000 children from the streets of London and shipped a large percentage out to the British colonies. Not all these children were orphans. Geoff Blackburn has painstakingly researched the Children's Friend Society and has uncovered the fate of many of these children. A very collectible book. Signed by Author(s).
