Por allí pasan las gentes hacia Camelot, incluso sir Lancelot, de quien se enamora a primera vista y a quien no puede evitar mirar directamente por la ventana, lo que despierta la maldición. La dama deja de tejer, se tiende en una barca y va muriendo mientras la corriente la lleva a Camelot, donde Lancelot descubrirá por primera vez a la dama, ya inerte.
