There Is Some Wear To The Cover. Spine Is Leather And Has Some Scuffing, Covers Are Cloth. The Interior Is Very Well Cared For. Edges Are Red And Three Silk Ribbons Are Intact. Previous Monk's Name Pasted On Sticker Inside Front Cover. Edges Are Red-Stained And Four Silk Ribbons Are Intact. Previous Monk's Name Tipped In Neatly Inside Front Cover. Graduale Romanae Is The Liturgical Book Used In Celebration Of The Eucharist And Consists Mainly Of The Psalms With Musical Notes Written In. The Graduale Was Revised By The Monks Of Solesmes And Offers Chants For The Mass. The Music Is Holy And Dates To The Time Of The Early Church. Due To The Works Of The Solesmes Monastery In France The Chants Were Returned To Their Original State. The Vatican Became Interested In The Solesmes Graduale And A 1908 Revised Authoritative Edition With Approved By Pope Pius X Was Published. Seller Inventory # Be3006st
