Incomplete set of 9 volumes (originally published with 10 volumes.) 3/4 Leather with marbled paper boards, the spines have decorative stamp and lettering. The endpapers are plain. Frontispiece in each volume. An attractive set with wear on edges. Plain Tales from the Hills, is more heavily worn and also has a primitive portrait hand drawn in pencil on the ffep; I assume it to be of Kipling as it resembles him, more or less.
