About this Item: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform, United States, 2011. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. Do we have a Bible available in the world today? Is the Bible a book, or a whole library of books? Does God offer man a Word, or a whole dictionary of words? There has never been a time when there was more confusion about God s Word than today when man is supposed to know more about God than at any time in history. God, who is not a God of confusion, finds His people wallowing in a mud hole of confusion. Did God say Mary was a virgin or a young woman? Did God say her purification, or their purification? Did Moses say seed, or did he say descendants or offspring? Did God know what He was talking about? The Bible has become just another piece of merchandise in a marketplace that is governed by obsolescence. Anything made last year becomes trade day junk on January 1st of every year. That includes the Word of God. This marketplace is a place of competition where everything must declare itself better than all the other things. Scholarship has become more important that divine inspiration. An inferior people (2011 people) claim to be better than superior people (seventeenth century people). Why are new discoveries so important to scholars when there are no new discoveries with God. The authors of Towers give historical reasons to accept the King James Bible as the only Bible we have available. God is the God of the A.D. world the same as He was the God of the B.C. world. God directed the affairs of man before Christ so that His eternal will would be done on Earth. God has directed the affairs of man since Christ so that His eternal plan for the ages would come to pass as He wills it. The Bible is part of God s eternal plan for the ages, and man was used to provide it, just as man was used to do all the other things in history that God needed done. The authors recognize the fact that most modern Bible teachers use the man-made versions. Preachers I know and love use these counterfeit versions. We do not understand why this is so, but it is a fact. Kennedy does not speak as strongly about the modern versions and the people who use the because he has many friends, and devout teachers who use them. While he has a deep conviction about the matter, he must respect the opinions of the people and institutions that use the modern versions. This may be called compromise, but he calls it speaking the truth in love. It is not the intention of the authors to cause division among God s people, but to exhort to a better understanding. We so not doubt the salvation of anyone, for we have not the right to do that. Kennedy has learned by experience how touchy this subject is, and how futile it is to get people to understand that they are doing wrong by using these books. Saints get offended when the errors in their bible is pointed out to them Repentance has fallen into disuse along with the Bible, and people get angry rather than right with God. They are apt to sue. The people who need to read and benefit from this book will be the last people to read it. We can only state the truth as plainly as we can as God has led us to do. Our prayer is that God will use the book to help people. . . for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. (Psalm 138:2). Is changing God s Word similar to taking His name in vain?. About this Item: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform, 2015. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. The cold passed reluctantly from the earth, and the retiring fogs revealed an army stretched out on the hills, resting. As the landscape changed from brown to green, the army awakened, and began to tremble with eagerness at the noise of rumors. It cast its eyes upon the roads, which were growing from long troughs of liquid mud to proper thoroughfares. A river, amber-tinted in the shadow of its banks, purled at the army s feet; and at night, when the stream had become of a sorrowful blackness, one could see across it the red, eyelike gleam of hostile camp-fires set in the low brows of distant hills. Once a certain tall soldier developed virtues and went resolutely to wash a shirt. He came flying back from a brook waving his garment bannerlike. He was swelled with a tale he had heard from a reliable friend, who had heard it from a truthful cavalryman, who had heard it from his trustworthy brother, one of the orderlies at division headquarters. He adopted the important air of a herald in red and gold. We re goin t move t morrah--sure, he said pompously to a group in the company street. We re goin way up the river, cut across, an come around in behint em. To his attentive audience he drew a loud and elaborate plan of a very brilliant campaign. When he had finished, the blue-clothed men scattered into small arguing groups between the rows of squat brown huts. A negro teamster who had been dancing upon a cracker box with the hilarious encouragement of twoscore soldiers was deserted. He sat mournfully down. Smoke drifted lazily from a multitude of quaint chimneys. It s a lie! that s all it is--a thunderin lie! said another private loudly. His smooth face was flushed, and his hands were thrust sulkily into his trouser s pockets. He took the matter as an affront to him. I don t believe the derned old army s ever going to move. We re set. I ve got ready to move eight times in the last two weeks, and we ain t moved yet. Seller Inventory # APC9781517272449

About this Item: Createspace, United States, 2015. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. Most distinguishing of all mans inherent characteristics is his ability to recognize all that exists as a collective unit of space and energy; whose relationship and exchange is known as reality.Reality, as a place, surrounds us all. In every direction it is infinite: engulfing everything matter and space: and creating the motions of time.Every able mind is aware of reality. No difference in religion, creed, or country expels its existence from shared understanding.Reality, is a mental concept. An imagination that is built around perceived understanding of the mechanics and dynamics of known and unknown existence. But, it is flawed. It cannot, encompass the full range of reality s actual substance and makeup. We assume an idea. And cannot guarantee our understanding. Making reality, a matter of personal acceptance. And declaring that each and everyone of us, live in our own perception of reality: with no two persons understandings being identical, or certain.Alone, we reside in reality. Cut off, and isolated. We cannot know it. Observation doesn t take the place for fact.Reality towers with imposing riddle and eternal allure. That interrogates our deep. Invokes our awe. And leaves us (intellectually and articulately, ) speechless. But bold with wonder and astonishment. The subject of criticism and praise from people of every nation and ethnic background.Truth seeking, is a mental war on reality; with a lot of walking, arguing, and mud wrestling. And it happens to every person that takes on this war, that they find themselves face to face with an unknown, they lack the power to gauge, engage, or measure in way whatsoever. It s like a person who has set out to walk across the greatest desert in the world. They have a strategy. A plan. All the essentials they can carry. But the way is tedious. With hardship and challenge always holding a conversation with each other, with the persevering trekker as their interpreter. The limits of endurance are pressed to breaking. Will and surrender are fought with strength that doesn t exist. It becomes a contest of no longer existing: just to spite the very romanticism of not existing. The truth seeker, digs in. Running on fumes. They push through. Having turned into something more than will or machine. Or even spite of self. Only to find themselves staring face to face with the deepest blue ocean in all the world. Fate, laughs at them. Insanity breaks into their mind: the greatest asset and instinct of survival. As the salt in the water, forbids them from drinking it. And now everything attacks reason: The desert, the sun, the ocean, the air and even their own beaten to pulp soul.It s that single point, where everything stops. And time and reality suddenly conspire against you. Ridiculing you with an impossibility, that doubles as fact. And you have to accept it. Everything around us is mechanical. [And] We re dying. Every breath.giving self to nothing. Seller Inventory # APC9781514163542

Seller Inventory # APC9781523675319

About this Item: Createspace, United States, 2015. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****.Most distinguishing of all mans inherent characteristics is his ability to recognize all that exists as a collective unit of space and energy; whose relationship and exchange is known as reality.Reality, as a place, surrounds us all.

About this Item: Echo Library, United States, 2006. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****.If my voice could have been heard at the late changes, I should have said, Gently, patience, stop a little; the time is not yet come; the mud of Poland will harden, and the bowels of the French grenadiers will recover their tone. When honesty, good sense, and liberality have extricated you out of your present embarrassment, then dismiss them as a matter of course; but you cannot spare them just now; don t be in too great a hurry, or there will be no monarch to flatter, and no country to pillage; only submit for a little time to be respected abroad, overlook the painful absence of the tax- gatherer for a few years. About this Item: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform, United States, 2015. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. Remember how we all couldn t wait to get to eighteen? Twenty-one? It seemed like time stood still then. We all had our own reasons for wanting it, voting, college, drinking. At some point age meant becoming an adult, albeit some kids got a head start, getting emancipated, having kids of their own, running away. Then when we hit the magic number, time went into overdrive and the years peeled away and there was no stopping it! But then.then the unfairness of it all, seeing today s teenagers run amok with their freedoms. I suppose that s the price to be paid for wanting to be so interconnected. When we (Boomers) were children, when you went home from a friend s house, you didn t see him/her until the next time-and it didn t matter! Yes, we are guilty of it too, but that s the only way to keep up. I hope, being of that age, technology never stops anyone from stepping in a mud puddle. Seller Inventory # APC9781519236616
