The first is a fine original color photograph of a grinning Farley astride his stunning Appaloosa mare "Luzon", signed and inscribed by noted author Walter Farley of "Black Stallion" fame to Patricia and Elliott Roosevelt (son and daughter-in-law of FDR and Eleanor): "For our good friends Patty and Elliott Walter Farley + "Luzon". 8 x 10 vertical (minor wear). The second is a b/w photo by Hank Cohen (stamped on the back) of Walter Farley shaking hands with Patricia Roosevelt at an equestrian event in Florida, trailers and a rider in competition behind them. 8 x 10 horizontal (minor wear). The Roosevelt's were noted horse-lovers.
