The back cloth covers ? with green-gold lettering and design on front panel and bright gold lettering on spine ? are all virtually As New ? with the 1959 date shown on the spine. The end paper list the 15 decisive events and the text pages ? which go through the 15 events one by one ? have numerous black-and-white illustrations of some of the individuals involved in the events. The author ? Rockwell Hunt ? was a well-known and accomplished California historian from the early part of the 20th century who authored nineteen full-length histories ? beginning in 1895. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with wear showing along the edges and folds ? and with a number of modest chips missing at the spine top and bottom ? with the price clipped on the front flap. The wrapper is now protected by a mylar cover. 91 pages.
