Boards are a little soiled, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Small, mild stain on edge of front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A substantial anthology of early 20th century comic and humourous writing, introduced and edited by P G Wodehouse.

Bright yellow cloth has some light soil. Spine ends bumped. Contents clean and binding sound. Jacket is edgeworn and torn with tape repairs. 1/2 inch to 1 inch pieces missing at top and bottom edge of front panel and spine head and bottom of rear panel. Dust jacket protected by removable clear sleeve; wear, tear and small losses to edges and corners, espceially top of spine. A little foxing to page fore-edges, especially top. Internally clean and bright; a good, tidy copy. Used - Good. Good hardback in Fair dust jacket.

Scarce with DJ which has some edge wear and small chips to head and foot of spine and rear (now protected), nevertheless presents well.
