Half-Leather. Condition: Very Good. Bound in half leather over marbeled boards, 11 volumes complete with the 11th volume covering some of Roosevelt and a few pages of the newly elected Taft and also being the index to the set. Each volume has some rubbing to the extremities, wear at the tips and a few having chips to the spine.Internally the volumes are very good or better. A lightly used set. Cloth. Condition: Very Good. (1917) 20 volume set, complete. A Very Good set. 8vo., each volume approximately 500 pages, comprising 9600 pages in total plus the 2 volumes of index(vols. 19 & 20). Uniformly bound in black, pebbled cloth with gilt titles and gilt presidential seal on the front board. t.e.g. Light edge wear, mostly at the spine's crown and tail. Text appropriately age-toned. Several early volumes have a weak front hinge. This set has recently had conservation treatment to preserve the cloth, help seal it and add cellulose to the fibers, so it is especially clean and shiny. Full-Leather. Condition: Very Good. Edition of 1913, eleven volumes (complete), full black leather with gilt titles and decorations, vols V, VII, and IX have shallow dampstains with slight wrinkling to bottom edges at the end of each volume, vollumes I and IV have minor dampspots to bottom edges, vol. XI has a repaired tear at top of spine, otherwise the set is VG+ showing light wear to edges and light rubbing to covers and a few small spots of soiling.

Condition: acceptable. Set is quite shelf-worn, but the bindings are tight and pages are unmarked. Nice gilded page edges. Significant shelf, storage or usage wear present that does not affect the readability of the book. Thanks for supporting an independent bookseller!
