Reflections on education with special reference to the teaching of English in the upper forms of schools.The lectures were given from February 22nd to 25th of 1943. Lewis traveled to the university of Durham with his brother Warnie, arrivng there on February 24th, 1943. They then travelled a few miles north to Newcastle for the lectures each evening Two versions of the pamphlet were produced differing only in the wrappers; version 1 in orange brown wrappers and version 2 in olive green. Version 2 may have been printed specifically for sale at the University of Durham and it appears less often than the Orange brown version.
