Hardcover. Small 4to. Burgundy paper over boards, pictorial dust jacket. xiii, 257pp, (1p ad). Map. Good plus/very good. Book itself tight and pristine, and would grade higher but for numerous lightly inked checkmarks in margins and light underlinings, with occasional margin comments; mild jacket edgewear. Second printing of this memoir by this Tipetan freedom fighter. She boldly signs her first name in black ballpoint on the title page, adding her circular red personal inkstamp alongside (with red ink smear from same, possibly bearing her fingerprint, on the facing blank leaf!). Despite checkmarks and other text markings, highly uncommon to find signed.
