No Binding. Condition: Fine. Paul Struck (illustrator). 1st Edition. 22 over-sized cards in a clamshell case. Card dimensions: 12.5 x 9 cm Clamshell dimensions: 14.2 x 11.7 cm. The cards and Little White Booklet inside are in as new condition. The transparent window for the case has severe wrinkling on it probably due to the manufacturer heating the outer clear plastic at a different temperature than the black base. This likely caused the transparent overlay to shrink at a more rapid rate, resulting in the wrinkling. As far as I know, this was once a common problem with clamshell cases of this type. Had the case been subject to heat after manufacturing, the base would also have warped, but it has clearly not. The Ansata Tarot was originally published as this major arcana-only deck in 1985. It was later expanded to form a traditional 78-card tarot deck. The symbolism is dense, incorporating the cabala and other occult systems.
