The book was published by Little, Brown and Company in 1939 and appears to be a First Edition, Second Printing though it's not specifically stated as such. This is not an ex-library copy and is in good + condition with yellowing pages, some foxing/shading to the end pages, and no dust jacket. Forester]; & his own Captain Kidd's Cat and Mr. Revere and I. This volume's endpapers feature a charming rendering of Franklin asleep in the meadow, while his trusty mouse Amos takes care of business, conducting the famous kite-flying experiment. To the upper, front there is a 3/8" chip with associated creasing and to the lower spine end there is a 3/8" chip. To the upper, rear there is a 1" tear and a 3/4" chip across the edge. A few other minor, short tears. Price of $1.50 to the front flap. This was made into a short Disney animated film in the 1950's. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
