Gilt edges, headcaps, and turnover. All edges gilt. Tops slightly dusty. Among the set, some gently bumped corners, gently rubbed edges. Contemporary blue endpapers. Bright and clean pages, tightly-bound. An excellent beginning for anybody looking to collect this lovely set. Spine pulling loose from two ( LI-LII and LXXIII-LXXIV). One inch of spine detached from XLIX-L, and tucked inside volume. With all its flaws, a beautiful set, and internally fine. Beautifully printed. Extremely rare complete.
