An intact 1949 copy of the famed Brown Derby Restaurant in Hollywood CA. Yellow cloth, brown derby embossed on upper rt corner of front board. Green script lettering on spine with brown derby. No jacket, and in fair used condition. Which edition this is, is not clear: on the copyright information (contrasting with the other listing on ABEbooks) This book's copyright information reads: "Copyright, 1949, by the Brown Derby Service Corporation. All rights reserved. Printed in the United States at the Country Life Press. Garden City N.Y". Book has brown color on top of page block, pictorial end papers--cartoons and historic photos of the various Brown Derbys. Front corners bumped, bottom of spine bent, top of spine with small pull tears, back cover split from rear free page but not pulled away, and not shaken, binding tight. interior without markings or notations; printed on a relatively soft cream paper.
