Spine slightly cocked, topedge a bit dust-soiled, near fine in a slightly spine-tanned very good dust jacket with 1" loss at crown (affecting title), a bit of staining near the spine, and a few small chips and tears. Warmly inscribed by the author to Sam Marx: "Nov. 28, 1938 For Sam Marx, a fine friend to have and a lot of fun to be with. But you really ought to hurry and come down Max Miller La Jolla California". Laid in is a two-page typed letter signed by Miller to Marx about various subjects, including a trip to La Jolla, the release of this book and studio interest in his earlier book *The Great Trek*. Sam Marx was a writer and a producer at MGM Studios at the time.
