First edition. [2], 139pp, [1]. Contemporary sheep-backed marbled paper boards. Lightly rubbed. Upper hinge exposed, later bookplate of William C. Coster to FEP, recent inked ownership inscription to recto of FFEP. The first edition of a series of devotional songs arranged by English composer Alexander Robert Reinagle (1799-1877), for the benefit of the parishioners of St. Peter-in-the-East, Oxford, at the behest of then curate (and later Bishop of Salisbury) Walter Kerr Hamilton (1808-1869). Size: Oblong quarto.
