Signed by Arthur Miller and inscribed to a former owner on the half-title page. Bound in publisher's original maroon and yellow pin-striped grey paper covered boards over grey cloth spine. Near Fine with light soiling, toning and wear to edges of covers. Thin tide mark to top edge of front and rear endsheets, several small water drops to top edge of textblock. In a Very Good price-clipped dust jacket with a faded spine and some edge-chipping. Miller's dramatization of the Salem Witch Trials as allegory for Senator Joseph McCarthy and the 1950s Red Scare in America. Seller Inventory # 140939500
