Text is clean and unmarked, binding tight, DJ unclipped but showing its age; no indications of previous ownership. The editors of Britain in Pictures persuaded the Grande Dame Edith Sitwell to write the text that accompanies twenty black and white illustrations and eight in color for this thin but enjoyable volume about prominent British women in politics, the arts and other fields.
