A small, round sticker on the spine of both the book and the jacket, else near fine in near fine dustwrapper with a small chip on the rear panel. Husband and wife tire of each other. She leaves to be a nurse on a cruise ship, he to live the Bohemian life of an author.

Light blue cloth boards with some edge wear and lightly frayed at bottom corners, one top corner slightly bumped; "Fraser & Scheirer Thurston Rd, Rochester, New York" store ? Law firm ? is stamped two times on the front inside corner and again on the rear inside cover otherwise book is free of markings except for some minor soiling; colorful dust jacket rubbed along edges , small edge tears at hinge areas ; inside jacket was reinforced with brown paper tape perhaps when it was new and gives jacket a substantial feel; tape is not visible as the jacket is now maintained in a protective mylar; this does not appear to be an Ex Librus copy but rather a prize in the collection of Fraser & Schierer; overall condition very good minus.

Condition: Fair. 288 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with moderate foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. General wear to boards, edges tanned, pages are clean, binding is tight. No jacket as issued. Dispatched from the UK same or next working day. NB: Due to the utter stupidity of Brexit, parcels sent to the EU may incur customs charges. Grading commensurate with age of book. By Good condition we mean that while book has some wear, it is perfectly readable and in overall good condition relevant to its age and book is priced accordingly.
