Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Beautiful first edition hardback with paper dustjacket. 320 page book with amazingly detailed illustrations. The hardback has some slight dents to the bottom and top of the spine. The paper dustjacket is scuffed at the edges and slightly faded on the spine. There is a gift inscription on the inside cover dated Nov 29th 1930 which we presume to be the launch year of this book, making it a first edition. The top and front edges of the book have slight foxing, and some slight spotting on one of the inside pages. The boards are secure, the binding is tight and the pages are all intact and undamaged.

1st Heath Robinson Illustrated Edition 18.8 x 25.5cm red cloth with a white panel to the centre of the front board and gilt stamped titles and decoration to the front and spine. Top edge red, xii 288 (2) with 16 tipped in coloured plates with captioned tissue guards and 88 black and white illustrations. The boards are clean and bright with some fading to the spine and a little pushing to the spine tips. Internally, there is a gift inscription dated 1916 to the front free endpaper, a small 1 cm bruise to the bottom edge of p176 not affecting the image and with no loss and occasional very light marking.
