Jacket has illustration on front, price-clipped, some soiling and chipping, 3 1-in chunks out of edges, in protective plastic. SIGNED by author. Each illustration has a story; many are unusual: the tree growing in a gravestone or a sculpture of a man entering his own tomb. Famed artist Jack Frost once illustrated for the Boston Herald, and many thought he was fictitious because of his name. All of the sketches are printed with his name, and many are dated 1935-1938.
