Retrospective of Nobel Prize-winning author William Faulkner's 1955 trip to Japan, primarily to take part in the Nagano Seminar, as part of a cultural exchange program sponsored by the U.S. State Department. This volume contains transcripts of numerous interviews, speeches given in Japan and a printing of his Nobel Acceptance speech. A tight copy but with dampstaining to lower corner of pages and also to the spine cloth.
