About this Item: New York: Frederick A. Stokes Co., 1941. Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Blue cloth. Folio. 28pp. Light green pictorial dust jacket. First edition. Illustrated by the author. The third volume in this popular series which began as a column in the "Ladies Home Journal" in 1938. The books are a cartoon commentary on bad behavior in children such as pouting, plotting, snootiness, messiness, etc. One Watchbird watches the bad behavior in action and the other watchbird watches you to prevent the behavior. A good copy with some heavy white spotting to the cloth covers. The endsheets have some browning else the text is good with some soiling and wear. The book has a musty odor from being stored in an attic. The jacket is good with some heavy soiling and a few small chips and tears along the edges. It is not price-clipped and has the original price of $1.00 on the front flap. Very scarce in the jacket. Seller Inventory # 9207
