Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 312 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth boards with lettering. Contains black and white illustrations. Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Frontispiece is loose. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Binding is slightly loose. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Lettering is bright and clear. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Visible wear marks to boards.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Reprint. no date, circa 1940, tears and large chips to jacket, ink gift inscription on front end paper blackened out, otherwise a clean, square copy, mild usage.

Edge and corner wear on the dustjacket with a few small nicks around the edges; price intact; no interior markings. There were reports from the north coast of a mysterious submarine and a huge airship and it was suggested they were the same vehicle. The Sub-Lieutenant was sent to investigate. Size: 8vo. Book.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. A lovely bright copy with clean pages and no inscriptions, albeit a tad toned at the page block edge and with a charming prize bookplate on the front paste down page, date 1939. This gives a clue to the date of publication as it is not stated in the book. The cloth boards look nice and fresh with crisp title lettering on the spine. The dust jacket is still bright although price clipped and with quite a bit of edge wear and chipping plus minor loss at the extremities and a tad sun faded to the spine.

Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges.
