About this Item: Tom Killion, Santa Cruz, CA, 1977. Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good. Limited Edition. Unpagenated, 4to. No DJ. Very Scarce. This edition is limited to 240 copies, this being copy number 128. Signed by Tom Killion. Hand-printed by the author on the Quail Press, Santa Cruz, in the Fall of 1977. The prints are all lino-cuts, and the reverse, or "ghost" image which backs most of them in intentional; it represents the original block. The paper is Japanese hosho; the type-face is Bembo. Includes fold-out map at rear of volume: Forts Cronkhite, Barry, Baker. An aesthetic and historical description of the coastal fortifications of Southern Marin County. Written and illustrated by Tom Killion. Salmon cloth boards with grey cloth spine, tan title box on front cover with black title. Shelfwear: light rubbing along edges and cloth board covers. Light tanning along edges of free endpapers and inside covers. Heavy tanning along edges of last six page leafs, including fold-out map. Otherwise, tightly bound with clean and crisp pages. No marks. Volume is in Very Good condition. Signed by Artist. Seller Inventory # 43442
