Yellow cloth with red titling to spine and upper board; b&w illustrations, index, two large gatefold maps. Ex-library copy with numbers on spine, ink stamp on all page edges, label on front paste down, writing and ink stamp on verso of title page, and Table of Contents, ink stamp on rear free end paper and paste down; scan bar and recording card on rear paste down. Spine ends and edges lightly rubbed and bumped; spine slightly faded; missing six inch chip on lower corner of front free end paper, Text unmarked. Overall, a tight VG- copy. No dustjacket. The autobiographies of four Tibetan lamas in the land of Dolpo, which, at the time of their writing (three in the fifteenth century and one in the seventeenth century) was a part of Western Tibet.
