Signed by the author, with a brief inscription. 53 pp. Printed on single sides only. Color illustrations by Cheslie D'Andrea throughout, as well as black and white photos. A survey of the fishermen and their boats, based in the Gloucester, Massachusetts area, describing the various boats in use at the time of writing, their features, as well as how fishing operations are conducted at sea. With some discussion of ships used in the past, as well as a section of recipes in the rear. Cheslie D'Andrea was a Massachusetts based artist known for his paintings and illustrations of the sea, including those of ships, as well as his depiction of military combat. GOOD+ condition.
