Bound in publisher's light brown cloth with pictorial design to cover and spine in orange and black. In original pictorial dust jacket with illustration matching that of the cover, but executed in a wider range of colors. Soundly bound copy has prior owner name penned neatly to front endpage along with a Christmas 1930 date. Page stock has expected but moderate toning. Illustrated with several color plates on glossy stock from paintings by Harry L Smith. Dust jacket toned and moderately shelf soiled, missing the lower inch or so from the lower end of the spine panel and a shallow 3 inch long chip from the top edge of the rear panel. Several short closed tears and nicks at edges. Scarce in dust jacket. VG-/G+. Seller Inventory # 16037
