About this Item: N.p., Syracuse, 1897. Original Printed Wraps. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 4pp. folding leaflet + 1pp. pocket sized invitation, printed on the recto only. "Come and bring your friends to the Union Gospel Meetings conducted by Rev. M.S. Rees, in the Danforth Congregational, Furman Street and Lafayette Ave. Methodist Churches, January 15-24, 1897. Interesting themes and excellent music" (from the front cover of the leaflet). Inside of the leaflet the sermons are advertised for each evening as well as the details for an all day meeting on January 20th including multiple speakers on the topic of the Holy Spirit. The back cover gives details on special meetings at each of the participating churches on January 17 and 24. Bottom edge of the piece is insect damaged and dampstained. The one page flier advertises, "Last week of the Union Gospel Meetings conducted by Rev. M.S. Rees. Light soil to this piece. Both pieces for one price. Nice ephemera from a cooperative evangelistic outreach held by three Methodist churches. Size: 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 011825
