Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition first printings. Three volume set in the Mars trilogy. Hardback books are all tight and pretty square. Text blocks clean. Red Mars has some light marking to the boards and a crease to spine. The text block has white edges. There is a previous owners gift inscription to the FEP that has been removed and has thinned the paper. Grades very good and is firmly bound. Blue Mars, as is common with this title has light toning to edges, also binding slightly stressed at half title page. Green Mars has light toning and feint spotting to edges. All volumes feel lightly read, with a touch of bowing at head of spine due to weight of text block. Blue and green grade near fine. Jackets nice with bold colours to the panels and the spines, also straight and clean with a little edge wear. Red Mars has a paper repair on the verso at the foot of the rear joint, and corresponding colour repair on the recto. Blue Mars has a 2mm rub to the spine. Overall a solid set of books. The title page of Red Mars is signed "K S Robinson" in red ink. These books are fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. Please note : this set of books are very heavy (3500g) overseas purchasers may be charged additional shipping. Please contact bookseller for exact price. For UK customers this set of books will be delivered by courier. A near fine solid set of this collectible trilogy, the Red Mars is signed by Robinson to title page in the appropriate red pen. A very good and solid set for a collector, which despite not being perfect does still present very well on the shelf. Signed by Author(s).
