In the publisher's slipcase. Number 289 of an unspecified subscriber's edition, this copy inscribed to a Pacific Northwest ship captain and signed by Gordon Newell. A Superior Publishing invoice written out to that captain is laid in, as is his business card. A logical, recent extension of E. W. Wright's Lewis and Dryden's Marine History of the Pacific Northwest (1895), which covered the subject to date.
