Ex-Library with the usual treatments. 496pp. With 4 plates and a fold-out map. Number 171 of a limited edition of only 500 copies. Both volumes are uniformly bound in tan paper boards, with white cloth and gilt lettering on the sides. Mild shelfwear, with gentle bumping at the corners. Hinges and textblocks are sturdy. This is Part 2 only, #27 of 100 copies, signed by Castaneda on limitation page, and with the ownership signature of J. F. Zimmerman on the same page. Zimmerman was President of the University of New Mexico when this was published. Very good with no dust jacket, presumably as issued.The spine is slightly cocked, the boards are slightly bowed, and there is some light soiling to the boards. The interior is fresh, with the foldout maps and all plates present. This volume goes from pages 243 through 496, and includes an index for both volumes.
