Book
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: None. First Edition, First Printing. An oversized and heavy work of 465 pages including an index. Volume itself has blue cloth covers with still sharp lettering and borders in gilt on the spine. Also, gilt on top of pages is relatively bright, other page edges are deckled. A number of pages in the work are untrimmed, which indicates the work has not been read, at least in toto. 1498 copies printed, according to Clark & Brunet, page 70. American Waterways Series III. The black & white photographs that I have found in the work all have frontipieces. Printed from Covenant paper stock. An historic treasure. The cover itself is being protected in a clear, archival quality Brodart cover, easily removeable, if desired. There is a slight touch of wear at the tail of the spine and at the outer corners. A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!.
