Very good, small blind embossed stamp to front free endpaper. Minor edge wear. ; Tipped in to the front free endpaper is a photo of Nikolai Sokoloff, the Russian American Violinist and conductor of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra from 1938 to 1941. Under the photo the prior owner has added the phrase "My Viking Friend". The photo was taken in 1947 in Norway. Laid in is an envelope with news clippings announcing the appointment of Sokoloff as the conductor of the orchestra. Bilbiography by country, index. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall. Seller Inventory # 36436
