Dust jacket is missing, but the jacket's flaps were cut off and laid in. Binding is tight. Interior has occasional underlining in pencil and very light toning. Names of two previous owners on front pastedown, one is written in pen and one is stamped. Notes written in pencil on rear free endpaper. Includes black-and-white photos, illustrations, maps, and diagrams throughout. This book examines the culture of the Hopi of Arizona with a focus on their peaceful way of life.
