Book is a nice and clean copy with some slight fading to its upper spinal edge and its front inner hinge is slightly exposed between the half-title page and title page but the binding is still tight and strong. The dj has a 1/4"-wide chip missing to the length of the upper and lower edge of dj spine and same to top edge of the front dj panel. There is also an approx. 2" tear to upper rear dj panel, a small chip to lower right corner of front dj panel, and a few small 1/4" darkened spots to the mid left side of rear dj panel). Overall, a nice copy of a scarce book in a Very Good dj which has dj chipping and tears. Translated by Gregory Rabassa. 564pp. Seller Inventory # 13133

Red cloth with blue ink lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, foxed at the front endpaper, clean otherwise. Cortazar's classic mostmodern novel that can be read in a traditional fashion or in Cortazar's "hopscotch" method laid on in his Table of Instructions.
