About this Item: Xanadu, London, 1978. Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. 256 pages. A collection of short essays by horror writers about another horror novel. This is one of 300 numbered copies signed by many of the contributors on the endpapers. The number and combination of signers varies from copy to copy. First edition (first printing). Near fine in a near fine, clear mylar dust jacket, as issued (not issued with a printed jacket). This copy has 79 signatures plus the two editors. Among the signers of this copy are Terry Pratchett, Robert McCammon, Forrest Ackerman, Brian Aldiss, Clive Barker, and Janet Yolen. One particularly illegible signature beginning with an N may be Neil Gaiman--he is known to have signed many copies. One of the signatures is that of 'Hugo Gernsback,' who had been dead for many years by the time this book was written. It is next to the signature of Forrest Ackerman and seems to be written with the same pen. Draw your own conclusions. Signed By Author. Seller Inventory # 200536
